This is an amazing experience especially crafted with indigenous lenses to remind you that you too are of the land.

What’s included?

  • Guided by tikanga, you’ll be part of practices that govern how we move in the ngahere

  • You’ll learn rich pūrākau of the native trees that reside there, bringing them all to life

  • You’ll get to taste and experience some of the rau in the ngahere with a spread provided at the end of the tour

  • You’ll get to take home our especially crafted booklet with karakia and pūrākau to help you to reconnect on your next adventure to a ngahere

How should I prepare for my tour?

  • Dress weather appropriate

  • Make sure your footwear is appropriate e.g. sports shoes or hiking boots

  • Bring your own water bottle

  • Bring your own medication e.g. asthma inhaler

Guests should be aware that the terrain will have uneven surfaces and may be muddy in some areas. While Mohi bush is predominantly flat, there are sections of the bush that have inclines. This tour is not wheelchair accessible, nor is it appropriate for push chairs.

When you arrive at Mohi Bush, drive in the gate, there is a grassy area to park on. Remember to close the gate when you enter

**Only one wānanga registration can be added to the cart per person.
