Step into the world of rongoā Māori with our immersive Weekend Wānanga. Guided by Awhi and Tash, this kaupapa will deepen your understanding of traditional healing, and teach hands-on rongoā practices rooted in tikanga and the wisdom of our tīpuna.

Across the weekend, you will explore the ngahere, gather and prepare rongoā, and build your confidence in working with native rākau for healing and wellbeing. Our wānanga is open to all levels of experience and welcomes anyone ready to walk the path of restoration, reconnection, and mātauranga Māori.

WĀNANGA PRICING AND DETAILS

The investment for a Te Ara Rongoā wānanga is $499 per person.

This covers the full wānanga experience, including a workbook and all meals from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.

Accommodation is an additional cost - the information is listed when you register.

FINAL REMINDERS

As part of the weekend, we will be heading into the ngahere. The terrain is short, easy and flat, but please ensure you are comfortable with walking and standing while we wānanga. It is not wheelchair accessible.

While we would love for tamariki to be present, for safety reasons, we cannot accommodate them.
