Step into the world of rongoā Māori with our immersive weekend wānanga. Guided by Awhi and Tash, you will deepen your understanding of rongoā Māori and its many facets.

Across the weekend you’ll be part of practices that govern how we move in te ao rongoā. You will learn karakia, tikanga, harvesting and preparation techniques. We’ll head into the ngahere, do lots of plant identification and tune in to learn their secrets, like their medicinal benefits, contraindications and posology.

You’ll take part in infusing, tasting and experience the power of rongoā, all while learning how to listen to your wairua and the wairua of the rongoā.
